We have also developed guides designed to assist with gender affirmation at school, especially for those States and Territories that appear to have no policies to support gender diverse students in school.
These resources, A Guide for Parents and Carers, A Guide for Schools and the Student Affirmation Plan, have been designed so they can be used at any school, regardless of whether the school be Government, Independent/Catholic, Primary or Secondary. They are there to help you confidently advocate for your child and assist the school in providing a safe and positive learning environment.
